Synopsis
My Twelve Maine Christmas Days is the first book published by wooly moon books. Based on the traditional carol, it spotlights the gifts of Maine and the people who treasure and share those gifts. The words can be sung to the traditional tune, performed with motions or in costume. Two pages of Maine facts complete the book to give parents and teachers additional information to share with their students and children.
The beautiful watercolor illustrations (Below) were done by Sandy Crabtree, a Bath, Maine artist and teacher. The illustrations were based on specific locations in Maine which are identified in the final two pages.
Published by wooly moon and produced by Book Bridge Press, this is a book to be cherished by life long Mainers, those from “away” who love Maine, and Mainers who now live away.[1]
