My Twelve Maine Christmas Days is the fourth book written by Wendy K. Ulmer, illustrated by Sandy Crabtree and was the first book published by Wooly Moon Books (produced by Book Bridge Press) in 2014.

Synopsis

The book is based on the traditional carol, The Twelve Days of Christmas, spotlighting the gifts of Maine and the people who treasure and share those gifts. The words can be sung to the traditional tune, performed with motions or in costume.

The watercolor illustrations are based on specific locations in Maine.[1]

Activities and Printables

Two pages of Maine facts complete the book to give parents and teachers additional information to share with their students and children.[1]

Awards and recognition

The Spark Award is presented by The Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators for excellence in children’s books published in a non-traditional manner.
